Owl Spit exists to preserve the stories that might otherwise disappear with the storyteller.

We believe that everybody has a story—not only the famous or extraordinary, but ordinary people whose lives hold humor, love, mistakes, courage, traditions, lessons, and quiet wisdom.

Owl Spit is a place where family, friends, and new voices can pull up a chair, tell their stories in their own way, and decide how they should be shared and remembered.

We listen for the “Owl Spit”—the secret ingredient hidden inside every good story: the unexpected truth, the lesson learned, the moment that made us laugh, or the meaning we may not recognize until someone asks:
